Our Facility
The Avera Cancer Institute provides comprehensive services for people with cancer. By having our cancer specialty physicians and support staff in one location, we are able to provide complete and convenient cancer care.
Our Specialty Clinics
- Avera Hematology and Transplant provides healing for those with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, bone marrow transplant and other blood disorders
- Avera Medical Oncology and Hematology cares for people with solid tumors such as breast, lung and brain as well as lymphomas and multiple myeloma and other blood disorders
- Avera Radiation Oncology cares for patients receiving radiation therapy
- Obstetrics & Gynecology/Gynecologic Oncology provides hope for women with ovarian, uterine or cervical cancers as well as other gynecologic cancers
We also offer a number of services in our facility to make patients and families more comfortable and offer easy access to education information.
Care Store and Salon
Our Care Store sells items for cancer patients and their families. This includes clothing, music, food and jewelry. The Store is also home to the Care Salon which provides wig and consultation services to patients undergoing cancer treatments. Learn more about the Care Store and Care Store Salon.
Community Cancer Resource Library
The Community Cancer Resource Library provides resources including books, pamphlets and videos. It also includes an Internet Cafe and a video viewing area in a relaxing environment.
Bistro
Our Bistro is a place for patients, families and friends to visit while visiting us. Free coffee and snacks are available. An outdoor patio is also available for patients and families.
Valet Parking
Free valet parking is available at the Avera Cancer Institute entrance. Our valets are located just inside the entrance.
