Molly Uhing, MD

"I chose Avera because their mission is so similar to my goals: to positively affect women’s lives, health, and pregnancies." Dr. Uhing has a special interest in both high and low risk obstetrics, as well as in-office procedures such as endometrial ablations. In 2007, Dr. Uhing received the Bayer HealthCare Best Teaching Resident honor at the University of Kansas.

Patricia Wirtz, MD

"I chose Avera because I interned here in 1974, and am excited to watch my three children follow my footsteps into the medical world." Dr. Wirtz loves everything about OB/GYN. She also loves her two dogs - a golden retriever and an Irish wolfhound - and enjoys skiing and golfing.

Lisa is especially interested in adolescent health care for both pregnancy and gynecology. She also enjoys helping all women feel comfortable and at ease through their pregnancy and birth experience. She spends her free time reading, baking and enjoying the outdoors with her husband, Shawn, and children Isaac and Tessa.

Teri has extensive experience with prenatal education and an interest in breastfeeding counseling. When she is not at work, Teri enjoys spending time with her husband, Troy, and being a mom to her children Amanda, Sam and Rowan.
