Avera St. Luke's newly remodeled cafeteria provides a large variety of nutritious meals and snacks. It is located on the first floor of our main St. Luke's campus at 305 S State Street. Visitors are welcome to eat in our cafeteria.

Hours of Service

The cafeteria at Avera St. Luke’s is open seven days a week:

• Breakfast: 7 AM to 10 AM
• Continental Breakfast: 10 AM to 11 AM
• Lunch: 11 AM to 1 PM
• Dinner: 5 PM to 6:30 PM

Vending Machines

Full-service vending machines are located in the cafeteria dining area. They are available 24 hours a day. Selections include cold and microwavable entrees and sandwich items, salads, fruits and desserts, along with a variety of snack and beverage choices.

Patient Meals

Wholesome, nourishing and well-balanced meals are an important part of a patient's treatment and recovery. Avera St. Luke’s makes every effort to provide nutritious meals that are prepared according to the doctor’s orders.

Patients are served breakfast between 7:30 AM and 8:15 AM, lunch between 11:30 AM and 12:15 PM and dinner between 5:30 PM and 6:15 PM. Patients receive a menu each morning, from which they can order their meals for the next day. If a patient is on a special diet prescribed by his or her doctor, the menu will be tailored to specific needs.
