Send a Patient ePostcard when you cannot be there in person… a free service for friends and families of Avera St. Luke’s patients. We understand how powerful the support and kind words from family and friends can be for our patients. Patient ePostcard is an online service from Avera St. Luke’s that allows you to send your thoughts and well wishes via email to patients at our hospital.
Using this form, you can send an electronic postcard to patients during their stay at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital. Be sure to include the patient’s first and last name, along with your information and personalized message. If we have more than one patient with the same name, we will email/call you back to request other information. Once received, the message will be printed out and hand-delivered to the patient by one of Avera St. Luke’s Hospital's volunteers. Remember…
- Treat your email as if it were a postcard. Do not include anything in the message that you would not write on a postcard.
- ePostcards are delivered weekdays, Monday - Friday, (excluding holidays) during the hours of 8 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Messages received after hours, weekends or on holidays will be delivered the following business day.
- Messages will NOT be forwarded to discharged patients and will be discarded without notification to you.
- Patients are unable to send electronic replies to ePostcards received while in the hospital.
