Avera St. Luke's Surgery uses the latest technology in equipment to provide
services in various specialty areas, including visual tracking for sinus surgery, small incision surgery in total knees, surgery through a scope in general and plastic procedures, laser treatments for glaucoma, and coblation for tonsil surgery. We have six operating rooms and one urology/cysto room.
Our goal is to deliver patient-focused care that is of the highest quality, comprehensive, accessible, supportive and personalized.
Surgery improvements
Same Day Surgery patients will find bigger rooms, more privacy, added convenience and a lot more space when construction is completed in October 2008 on a $2 million project on the first floor of the new southeast addition.
The Surgery area will also undergo significant remodeling and changes, including a new minimally-invasive surgery suite, call rooms, staff lounge and more storage.
Our Team
The surgery team consists of specially trained surgeons, anesthesiologists, certified nurse anesthetists, registered nurses, certified surgical technologists, processing technicians, inventory coordinators, and secretarial staff all working together to provide service to individuals of all ages, pediatric through geriatric.
