Avera St. Luke‘s provides treatment for communication and swallowing disorders through our Speech Therapy Department. Our goal is to offer comprehensive speech therapy services to Aberdeen and the surrounding area, including prevention, diagnosis, consultation, screening and treatment. These services seek to maximize an individual’s speech, language, cognitive, voice and/or swallowing abilities.
Services are provided for inpatients and outpatients at the hospital, in the community and region, and in nursing homes in the Aberdeen area. Our staff members evaluate and treat individuals of all ages, pediatric through geriatric.
